Exams We Prepare You For
Every exam tests something different. Here's what each one actually measures, and who it's for.
Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing, scored on a 0-120 scale. The most widely required exam for undergraduate and graduate admission to universities in the United States.
Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, scored on a 9-band scale. Two versions: Academic, for university admission, and General Training, for immigration and work visas, most commonly for the UK, Canada, and Australia.
Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, plus Math. The standard admissions test for undergraduate programs in the United States, distinct from the English-proficiency exams above.
Grammar, Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. A shorter, more affordable proficiency exam accepted by a growing number of universities and immigration programs as an alternative to TOEFL or IELTS.
Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, delivered entirely by computer. Canada's own English test, with two versions: General, for permanent residency and citizenship, and General LS, a listening-and-speaking-only version for citizenship.
